Notes for Mary\Polly Bittick

Her age varies on each census, but she is usually listed as born between 1810-1813. Her parents are unknown, but she could be the daughter of John Bittick 1781 and Hannah McCourtney. Mary is known to have lived in Jefferson County near John Bittick from at least 1832. See Other Documents: Possible Children of John Bittick and Hannah McCourtney.

Mary's age is not listed on any of her marriage records, but since there was no parental consent for her first marriage in 1832, she must have been older than 16-18 at that time.
