Notes for Lucinda Bittick

Died between 23 Jun 1880 - 05 Aug 1885
******
Lucinda Bittick's place of birth is not proven. According to a letter from Mrs. Othella Pumphrey of Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1983 to Dorothy Miller, she states Lucinda was born in Lawrence Co, Arkansas. Mrs. Pumphrey is Lucinda's great-great-granddaughter, now deceased. Mrs. Pumphrey also believes that Rebecca Bittick, who married McLaughlin, and Lucinda Bittick are sisters and Francis M. and Jesse Bittick are their brothers. Robert Bittick is mentioned as a brother but she isn't clear about him being a brother to the others. The source for Mrs. Pumphrey's information is unknown. [courtesy of Dorothy Miller]
