John Knott wills
to son James a slave;
to children of daughter Elizabeth Frazer, deceased, namely Polley, Nancey, Izabel, Betsey, Farwick, and Anney, a negro woman and her increase at death of her father Arthur Frazer;
to daughter Mary Davis, a negro girl and her increase;
to son John Knott, a negro and part of the land whereon I now live, about 300 acres;
to son William, a negro and half of the land in Franklin County to be divided between him and son David Knott, a bed and furniture, 3 cows and calves, 3 ewes and lambs;
to son David, the other half of land in Franklin Co., 3 ewes and lambs;
to son Thomas, rest of land and plantation whereon I live,
the other half to John Knott, and a negro slave, a bed and furniture, cow and calf, 3 ewes and lambs;
to daughter Ann Satterwhite, a negro slave and increase and one horse,
to daughter Lucy Knott, a negro slave and her increase, a feather bed and furniture, a horse, a cow and calf, 3 ewes and lambs;
to daughter Marthey Knott, a negro slave, bed and furniture, livestock, horse and saddle and bridle, cow and calf, other livestock when 17 years old;
all else divided between my children and children of deceased daughter Frazer.
