Obion County. } Know all Men by these Presents:
That We, J. E. Bittick and Newt Bittick
of the County of Obion and State of Tennessee, are held and firmly bound to the
State of Tennessee, in the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fify Dollars, to which
payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and
administrators, and each and every one of us, jointly and severally, by these
presents.
The Condition of the above obligation is such, That whereas the above bounden
J. E. Bittick has this day prayed and obtained a license to marry Mary Legate
now if there is no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage and for which license
is desired, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force
and virtue in law.
