black hair, and a farmer before enlisting. Enlisted by Lt. Col. McRae at
Crane Creek, Missouri on 4 Aug 1861 for period of one year. Last paid 28
Feb 1862 and has pay due from that date to 24 Oct 1862. Discharged at
Cumberland Gap and due $80 traveling allowance from Cumberland Gap, place of
discharge, to Hempstead Co, Arkansas, place of enrolment, transportation not
