April 14, 2012 in Liberty Hill, Texas
Details and further information coming soon, please check back.

We will be gathering at the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church again this year. You can check it out and get directions from their web site at http://www.lhumctx.org/Directions.htm, or go West on Hwy 29 from Georgetown to Liberty Hill and turn left onto RR1869. After crossing the railroad tracks make the next left and the church will be a short way down on your left. We'll meet at 10:00 AM as usual.
Our attendance picked up last year due in no small part to our improved location at the Liberty Hill Methodist Church. The use of the church is free because of the Spivey family's membership there. We are very grateful to have this opportunity again this year.
Last year we visited the Andice Cemetery first & that worked out so well that we'll do that again. We'll meet at the church at 10:00 to carpool. If you know the way to the cemetery and it's more convenient for you to meet us there, please do so.
Following the cemetery visit, we'll have time to update our records (births, deaths, change of addresses, etc.). Dorothy Miller's records were a treasure trove of personal letters which have been added to the family books.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you know of changes in your family's records now, please email them to Janie Bittick at the e-mail address on the home page. She will attempt to include the updated records in your family book & boards before the reunion.
Our barbeque lunch will be ready for us around noon for $8.00 a person! Feel free to bring a favorite dessert & your own soft drinks. Coffee, tea, lemonade and ice will be available. No alcoholic beverages, please.
Following lunch, we hope to have a guest speaker who will be telling us about the early days in Williamson County, Texas. We'll also have time to discuss who & what is new in the family. Mary Gallano is working on a book containing the military records of the Bittick's.
We'll do our popular door prize drawings again this year. However, let's just bring one prize per family!
This is also the weekend for the annual Burnet Bluebonnet Festival. If you've never been before, you've been missing a great event. The festival opens on Thursday night & continues through 3:00 p. m. on Sunday. Some of you may wish to leave early so you can attend, and some of you may want to stay around. We know how the Bittick's love to visit! We have the fellowship hall until 5:00.
We have a block of rooms reserved at the LaQuinta Inn in
